Buggyra Academy prepares young and talented racers for a career in motorsports. Our program, experienced coaches, and extensive network in the industry make sure that our students reach their motorsport targets.

What WE DO

The Buggyra Academy was founded in 2019 by Martin Koloc, Buggyra Racing principal. As a double European truck racing champion, Martin knows every side of the motorsport industry behind the wheel and behind a desk.

The Academy has become an integral part of the Buggyra ZM Racing team structure. Its objective is to develop new talent both on and off the track, with experienced coaches and real race programs giving students the environment to grow.

Buggyra Academy France has become the dominant force in the French Truck Racing Championship. Téo Calvet has claimed four overall titles (2021, 2023, 2024, 2025) and is currently competing for a fifth.

RALLY RAID
SUCCESS

Aliyyah Koloc became the youngest female driver in the history of the Dakar Rally when she entered at 18 years of age, finishing 33rd in the T3 category in 2023. She advanced to the T1+ Ultimate class for 2024 — finishing 25th overall as a rookie. In 2025, she completed her third Dakar, finishing 35th and as the fastest woman in the T1+ field. In 2026, she returned for her fourth Dakar alongside her father Martin Koloc the first father-daughter duo to race together in the Ultimate class.

Buggyra Academy runs its karting division from bases in Dubai- UAE, Manama – Bahrain and Foshan – China, delivering training programs for ambitious young drivers who aim to compete at the highest levels of motorsport.
Buggyra Academy National Programs
Our national programs support a wide range of drivers in reaching their personal best through competition in national racing series.
Buggyra Academy World Program
The World Program is designed for a selected group of juniors competing in the most prestigious international racing series. Entry is by invitation only. Drivers are assessed using our proprietary evaluation method, a holistic framework that identifies those with the greatest overall potential. Programs typically begin from age 10, though some individual programs have started with drivers as young as six.

Rally raid

MAIN TARGET

THE DAKAR RALLY

The rally raid program prepares its participants for the demanding environment of off-road racing, with the Dakar Rally as the ultimate objective. The program covers everything from navigation and technical preparation to physical conditioning and racecraft in desert conditions. Participants move through categories progressively — from T3 vehicles up to the T1 Ultimate class. The pace of progression depends on results, readiness, and the resources in place.

The program’s most visible graduate is Aliyyah Koloc. She entered the 2023 Dakar at 18 years old as the youngest female driver in the rally’s history, finishing 33rd in the T3 category. She stepped up to the T1+ Ultimate class in 2024, finishing 25th as a rookie, and completed her third Dakar in 2025 as the fastest woman in the T1+ field. In 2026, she raced alongside her father Martin Koloc — the first father-daughter duo in the Ultimate class.

Aliyyah has since moved from student to mentor within the Academy, bringing her Dakarexperience directly back into the program

Truck Racing

Training for active and aspiring

RACE TRUCK DRIVERS

Buggyra Academy France operates out of the Nogaro circuit in southern France, running training sessions for race truck drivers at every level — from first-timers to active competitors looking to sharpen their edge. Sessions cover everything from the mechanics of a 5-ton racing machine to on-track technique, spread across two days of practical, coached work.

The program is accessible from the age of 16. And it works. Téo Calvet came through the Academy and went on to claim four French Truck Racing  Championship titles (2021, 2023, 2024, 2025) — currently the benchmark of the category and going for a fifth. He now coaches the next generation
of drivers on the same circuit where it all started for him.

ENGINEERING

Where Performance Begins
Every result on track starts in the workshop. The Buggyra Academy Engineering Program trains the next generation of motorsport engineers and technicians, giving them the technical skills and trackside experience that racing at the highest level demands.

Learning by Doing
Participants work alongside our race teams at our bases in Dubai, Bahrain and Foshan, gaining hands-on experience with chassis setup, engine preparation, data acquisition and analysis, and vehicle maintenance. Training goes beyond the classroom: students apply what they learn in real race environments, under real pressure, as part of a team.

From Data to Decisions
Modern motorsport is driven by data. The program develops students’ ability to read and interpret telemetry, understand vehicle dynamics, and turn their findings into setup changes that make a car faster. Just as importantly, they learn to communicate clearly with drivers, an essential skill for any race engineer.

A Pathway into Professional Motorsport
The Engineering Program is designed for young people with a passion for technology and racing who want to build a career in professional motorsport. Selected participants may have the opportunity to support Buggyra teams at national and international events, gaining the experience and connections that open doors in the industry.

MANAGEMENT & COMMUNICATION

Success in motorsport isn’t decided on the track alone. Behind every race team stands a group of professionals who manage operations, secure partnerships, and tell the team’s story to the world. The Buggyra Academy Management & Communication Program prepares young talent for these essential roles in the business of racing.

Running a Race Team
Participants learn how a professional motorsport operation works from the inside: event planning and logistics, budgeting, team coordination and race-weekend management. Working alongside Buggyra staff at our bases in Dubai, Bahrain and Foshan, they see how decisions made off track directly shape performance on it.

Partnerships and Sponsorship
Motorsport runs on strong partnerships. The program covers how to build and maintain sponsor relationships, create value for commercial partners, and present a team or driver as an attractive brand.

Media and Communication
From press releases and social media to interviews and live event coverage, participants develop the skills to communicate with clarity and confidence. They learn to manage a driver’s or team’s public image, produce engaging content, and work effectively with journalists and broadcasters.
A Gateway to the Motorsport Industry
The program is designed for young people who are passionate about racing and see their future in team management, marketing, PR or sports business. Selected participants may join Buggyra teams at national and international events, gaining real-world experience and building a network within the industry.

At the highest levels of motorsport, the experience off track matters as much as the action on it. Guests, partners and sponsors expect a world-class welcome, and delivering it takes skill, precision and a genuine passion for people. The Buggyra Academy Hospitality Program trains young professionals to create unforgettable race-day experiences.

Behind the Scenes of Premium Events
Participants learn how professional motorsport hospitality works, from planning and setting up hospitality areas to guest management, catering coordination and VIP services. Working alongside Buggyra staff at our bases in Dubai, Bahrain and Foshan, they gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced environment of international race events.

Serving Partners and Guests
Hospitality is central to building lasting relationships with sponsors and partners. The program teaches participants how to host corporate guests, organise paddock tours and team experiences, and represent the team with professionalism at every point of contact.

Skills for a Global Industry
Beyond motorsport, the program builds skills valued across the international events, luxury and hospitality sectors: service excellence, attention to detail, multicultural communication, and the ability to stay calm and organised under pressure.
